The creator is king.
Commissioned by the Kim Dawson Modeling Agency in Dallas, Fredrik and Maxwell Brodén have teamed up to create a brilliant fashion video, entitled CYMK. The video was debuted at the modelling agency’s 2nd Annual Film Festival in early November 2012.
A film of transitions by Fredrik’s own admission, it was inspired by the work of Andrei Tarkovsky, and takes the viewer through the colors of the printing process: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black. The sleek black bust that we see at the end of the film was actually created by Maxwell Broden as a 3D model. Indeed, Max has been perfecting his facial scanning techniques –he’s planning something big, aesthetes.
Max has recently started his own business, auto:make3d. And we would say that he’s certainly off to a healthy start –his work, which is on the very vanguard of artistic and technological frontiers, was just featured in F!D Luxe’s “13 people to watch in 2013: the creative class” as the eponymous ”Creator.” If that isn’t a resounding cry of confidence, then I can’t begin to tell you what is!
